good life

Eleven vertical frames of a life with nothing urgent in it — a tennis court cut into a Mediterranean hillside, a yacht's interior on still water, two men at chess on a board laid across the blue, polo at full gallop, swimmers and golfers laid over a monogram in blue and again in green, a robe and a newspaper under a passing plane, a figure surfacing in a spiral of paint, four skiers strung down an empty face, someone kneeling alone on a summit, and everything worth packing laid out in a tray.
